David W. Stewart is President’s Professor of Marketing and Business Law (emeritus) at Loyola Marymount University. He is a past editor of the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Marketing Accountability Standards Board (MASB).  He has previously served as a member of the faculty and in various administrative roles at Vanderbilt University, the University of Southern California, and the University of California, Riverside. He is the author of more than 300 published articles, chapters, and proceedings contributions and has authored or edited more than 20 books. His published work has focused on consumers’ use of information and shopping behavior, effective marketing communications, marketing strategy, research methodology, and public policy.
